About

One account instead of five subscriptions.

Tincograph is an app family with one account across every app — AI, video, photos, camera, terminal and notes. It's built by Oscar, a German filmmaker and vibe coder living in Macedonia.

Who builds this

I'm Oscar. I make films, and I build the tools I wanted on set and at my desk. I live in Macedonia, and alongside the software I'm helping build a country worth my son growing up in.

Tincograph is where those tools live. It's small and independent — there is no sales process to be routed through, just the person who writes the code reading your email.

What Tincograph is

Each app has an honest status, and the site says which is which:

  • AI Available — chat in any browser and inside the Tincograph browser, with two models routed automatically.
  • Genesis Coming soon — describe the edit and the editor does it, with AI generation and a plugin marketplace.
  • Softbox Coming soon — a glass gallery and pro photo editor with an AI pipeline under every photo.
  • Shutterspeed Coming soon — honest capture with every processing step switchable off; two phones link with no server.
  • Terminal Coming soon — Tincograph Desktop — a browser and terminals side by side, reachable from your phone.
  • Notes Coming soon — notes, journal and diary, synced through your account, AI access off by default.

The idea, stated plainly: one account and one bill rather than a separate subscription per tool. Your work follows you between devices because it belongs to the account and not to the machine. Anything that needs no Tincograph server stays free.

Keys and data are handled conservatively. If you bring your own model provider, the key is kept in your browser and sent to the endpoint you configured — it never reaches a Tincograph server. What we do hold, you can export in one click and delete from your account page.

What we believe

Four rules that decide most of the arguments about what to build next.

Where we are

This is early. Every app shows its status on its own page, and the ones that aren't out yet have a waitlist instead of a promise.

We do not publish dates for unreleased work — a date we miss is worse than no date at all. Anything that does ship is recorded in the changelog, which is where a claim about progress counts.

If you want to know whether something exists yet, or whether it will, write to [email protected]and you will get a plain answer — usually within two working days. The contact pagelists the other addresses.

Start on the free plan

Everything that runs on your own device stays free, the free allowance renews every month, and no card is needed to begin.
